We are able to pay trademark renewals irrespective whether the trademark was filed by us or another firm. It is also not necessary to change the recorded agent (i.e. address for service) for the trademark should you wish us to pay the renewal.
The PayAnnuity system sends 6, 3 and 1 month renewal reminders by email.
South African trademarks may be paid up to 6 months before the renewal deadline. If the deadline is missed, the renewal may still be paid (with penalties) during the 6 month grace period.
For large portfolios and select clients, our trademark watching system automatically sends monthly trademark opposition watching search reports by email (without charge). These reports alert you to similar trademarks published in the last three Journals, which are open to opposition.
